Getting to Nagano Station

By Train

Nagano Station is easily accessible from Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto or Kanazawa.

From Tokyo, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from JR Tokyo or JR Ueno Station (both stations have direct lines from Narita International Airport) to Nagano Station (90 minutes). See Timetable Here. From Haneda International Airport, you must take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho Station (16 minutes) then change to the JR Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station (7 minutes). Approximate One Way Adult Price without JR Pass: ¥8,500

From Kyoto, take the Tokaido Shinkansen to Tokyo Station (140 minutes). Change at Tokyo Station and take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Nagano Station as per instructions above (90 minutes). Approximate One Way Adult Price without JR Pass: ¥20,000

From Nagoya, take the JR Chuo Line “Shinano” train direct from JR Nagoya Station to Nagano Station (180 minutes). See Timetable Here. Approximate One Way Adult Price without JR Pass: ¥8,000.

From Osaka, take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka Station to Tokyo Station (155 minutes). Change at Tokyo Station and take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Nagano Station as per instructions above (90 minutes). Approximate One Way Adult Price without JR Pass: ¥21,000
